FLOWERING RAIN BOOTS Z FOLD 

ENCOURAGEMENT CARD


 Who's ready for spring? I am and flowers and birds returning are a sure sign that it's just around the corner! Today I'm using the following Stampin' Up! goodies to create this fun Z fold card:

Supplies:

Flowering Rain Boots Bundle

Basic White CS - for card base -5 1/2 x 8 1/2" - score/fold at 4 1/4" and 2 1/8"

    3 x 3/4" and 1 3/4 x 1 1 /4"and some scraps to stamp on.

Read Red CS - 3 1/8 x 7/8"

In Good Taste DSP - cut 2 at 5 1/4 x 1 7/8" and cut 1 at 5 1/4 x 4"

Inks: Real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Memento Black

Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels

Directions:

Stamp boots and tulips with Real Red ink on Basic White CS. Stamp the stems with Pear Pizzazz. Cut out with dies. With glue, attach these 3 pieces as shown in photo. Set aside.

Stamp "RAIN OR SHINE..."sentiment with black ink on 3 x 3/4" piece of white CS, then attach to Real Red CS. Stamp "our friendship" sentiment with black ink on 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" piece. Set aside.

Attach In Good Taste DSP to card base with adhesive. Adhere front sentiment and boots with glue - remember to only to apply glue 1/2 of these - the side that will attach to the card front.

Attach remaining sentiment to inside of card so that it "hides" behind the boots when it is closed.

Finally, add Real Red Holiday Rhinestones to card as desired!
